Growing up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I always had an affinity for my natural surroundings. After moving to Toronto, Canada with my family in 1999, I continued to foster my love of nature through exploring natural landscapes, including several provincial and national parks across Canada. I took up photography in 2001, which has provided me with a creative outlet to explore the world around me. My photography is predominantly nature-based, focusing on landscapes, seascapes, waterfalls, animals and plants. Being from Toronto, I occasionally photograph cityscapes, in addition to pictures of my family, friends and pets. My love of nature and photography has taken me across the globe, including the USA, England, Iceland, Dubai, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan. I am hoping to visit Switzerland in the near future, where I look forward to taking photographs of their picturesque Alps.
